My trip to Bhutan was great, everything that I expected and more but it was not without planning and choosing the right travel company. Sophun Travel turned out to be one of the beautiful things that I discovered in Bhutan. Sophun staff was experienced and competent with logistics and planning, willing to help on all levels, and everyone was patient and happy. When I go back to Bhutan I will contact my friends at Sophun Travel.

I was in Bhutan during summer, in 2001. I had to write a story for my newspaper, and it was with Kesang and his guide that I discovered this strange and bewildering country. It was one of the most amazing experiences that I have ever had, and I am grateful to them for taking care of everything, warmly and competently, and for making me feel at home. I treasure those memories, and I keep in touch with Kesang. Through our friendship I can still feel Bhutan in my heart!

Our trip to Bhutan was one of the most memorable we have taken. The country and the people are wonderful. The whole trip was made extremely easy and pleasant in large part due to the excellent services provided by Sophun Travel. This is a smaller family run organization (recommended by Bhutanese friends of ours) that had all the necessary connections to arrange everything we wanted on the trip but was able to do it in a highly personal way. The owners were accessible at all times and found the time to have dinner with us on a couple of occasions, which made it very special.
